Ars Electronica 2021 is open – and so is the new space for children at Johannes Kepler University, the “Zirkus des Wissens” (Circus of Knowledge). The latter aims above all to encourage the younger generation to develop and pursue their own ideas for the future. The ceremonial opening of these two events on September 8 was also attended by Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, and Schubert’s “Winterreise” provided the musical accompaniment by Naked Lunch frontman Oliver Welter and exceptional pianist Clara Frühstück.
