How can creativity and art assist humanity in saving Earth and creating a worthwhile Planet B for everyone? What can establishing creative resilience mean in this transition? An interesting mix of researchers, artists and activists came together to find answers in the kick-off meeting of the Futurelab Day at the Ars Electronica Festival 2022, titled “Morning Inspirations: Creative Resilience for a Planet B”.

While the perspectives differed, the participants agreed that humanity needs to join forces – and that art can be a language to communicate a sense of resilience in humanity. To save the planet and create a better world for all it’s inhabitants. The discussion was led by Futurelab researcher and artist Anna Oelsch (AT), she was joined by Sigrid Bürstmayr (AT), Rashin Fahandej (US/IR), Adrian van Hooydonk (NL), Jung Hsu (TW), Tom Lamberty (DE), Yuima Nakazato (JP), Marcus Neustetter (ZA/AT) and Natalia Rivera (CO).
