Bridge 2040 is a fast-paced card game as a bridge to the future. Whether it’s an everyday story, thriller or future adventure: players draw cards and work in teams to invent a story about fictional characters living in the year 2040. The participants respond to trends, artworks and questions on the individual cards they have drawn.
Bridge 2040 was implemented as one of the winning projects of the in-house Ars Electronica Futurelab Ideas Expedition and is particularly suitable for children aged 8-14 and senior citizens aged 65+ to engage in a dialogue about relevant future topics. Of course, all visitors to the Family Days at the Ars Electronica Centre are invited to register at the museum ticket desk for 20-minute slots in teams of 2-4 and try out the game together with our employees.
