Is the earth flat? Does Corona even exist? Is the world ruled by reptiles masquerading as humans? These are all questions that haunt online and creep into offline reality. How do young people get sucked into the deep caverns of the internet? Do they find the connections online that they missed offline? “Rabbit Hole” by De Toneelmakerij is an interactive production on the pulse of time. In this unique, cross-media environment, the boundaries between online and offline are completely blurred. Via their own smartphones, the audience becomes part of the chat forums in which the isolated Samy also moves. Do you follow him into the “Rabbit Hole”? Or do you prefer to stay outside?
