The two artists Kat Austen and Fara Peluso will introduce bioplastics as a new material to the workshop participants and explain how bioplastics differ from plastic and how they are similar to it. The life cycle of the materials that surround us in everyday life will be examined more closely in this workshop, as well as what impact their production and disposal have on our environment. How new materials can contribute to the circular economy and what this can do in terms of the climate crisis will also be examined in more detail.
