“Tateye” is a prototype that tattoos the image of your choice onto your retina! This set of goggles is equipped with two built-in lasers that engrave a permanent tattoo onto the wearer’s retina.
Nevertheless, Croatian artist Anselmo Tumpić isn’t pursuing the idea of marketing “Tateye” as an actual, functional product, which, even if it were technically feasible, would violate any and all legal measures enacted to safeguard consumers’ health and personal rights. This device will forever remain a prototype, though one that gives those who behold it food for thought about the signs and optical patterns that are burned into our consciousness and behavior without these acts having been performed physically.
