VAI Training Simulator

Die Seite ist nur in englischer Sprache verfügbar.

Virtual reality simulator for a continuous casting plant for industrial steel processing.

The project is part of the Ars Electronica Futurelab’s long-standing and successful collaboration with voest alpine Industrieanlagenbau. Thanks to this virtual continuous casting plant, employees can be trained and time-consuming quality control in the laboratory can be replaced by virtual environment technology. In this simulation, additional information and media can be incorporated and integrated into a realistic environment. This application can be used not only for training purposes, but also to present innovative steel rolling technology at trade shows.
