The Ars Electronica Center is widely known for its interactive Deep Space 8K and its exhibitions, which – full of technology, creativity and innovation – keep astonished visitors looking to the future. What far fewer people know: The Ars Electronica Center not only stands out as a museum of the future, but is also one of the most innovative event locations in Linz, Austria.
Whether seminar room or event location for conferences, symposia or any other private or business occasion – kick-off meeting, business brunch, seminar, workshop, lecture, conference, gala dinner, meeting or customer event, birthday party or wedding, up to the classic meeting and product presentation – in the large and small premises on the banks of the Danube in Upper Austria many things have already been celebrated, organized and presented.
Not only the physical rooms of the Ars Electronica Center are available to our guests for conferences, events and functions, but also cyberspace. When organizing your event, the Ars Electronica event team will assist you in all phases of planning and implementation.

Questions and answers
The Ars Electronica Center is located in Linz, Austria, directly on the north bank of the Danube, just a few minutes’ walk from Linz’s main square.
Yes. 118 parking spaces are available at the Linz Urfahranermarkt site (unless the site is being used for a major event). A 24-hour ticket costs 12 euros, a 2-hour ticket 2.50 euros and a 6-hour ticket 6 euros. Guests of the CUBUS restaurant, local residents and night owls also have the option of parking their vehicle from 18:00 to 8:00 the following day for 2.50 euros.
As a general rule, events at the Ars Electronica Center are catered by the CUBUS restaurant. In exceptional cases, it is permitted to commission external catering companies (e.g. if you have an exclusive contract with a catering company). We are obliged to charge the City of Linz a catering commission of 10% on their services. Self-catering is not possible.
All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Smoking is permitted on the facade terrace of the CUBUS restaurant.
The LED façade of the Ars Electronica Center can also be used in a limited form for events. Your logo color can be programmed for you, advertising lettering is not permitted.
All set-ups must be clarified with the event service before the event. Any other use must be agreed with the museum management.
We have a general permit for event venues for all rooms – with the exception of the Maindeck. Here, a separate permit must be obtained from the City of Linz.
