This week, Home Delivery brings you a talk with Nana Tylo, a Vienna-based artist who works mainly in the fields of drawing and animation. She studied Fine Arts with a specialization on photography at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and studied Intermedia Arts at the Tokyo University of the Arts. She won the Golden Nica in the category u19 – create your world in 2008 with a hand-drawn animation and received two Honorary Mentions in 2006 and 2009 in the same category. Since 2018 she has been responsible for acquisition, research and jury assistance for the Prix Ars Electronica in the Computer Animation category and for two years she has been project manager of the Animation Festival and the Prix Ars Electronica. In her artistic approach, she explores the boundaries and borders between drawing, animation and installation and examines the overlaps between the various formats.
