Digital Sensing questions the possibilities of scanning and perceiving the human body with contemporary technologies such as 3D photography, AI scanning, and morphing. It then projects it back into physical space in the form of 3D-printed sculptures.

Florian Fiebiger, Sebastian Moritz and Simon Hochleitner are three students of the Digital Arts master’s program at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria Campus Hagenberg. In their master’s thesis entitled „Digital Sensing“, the three students deal with the intersection of art history, contemporary art and digital media.
