A mixed reality (XR) exhibition on [u|dys]topian approximations of the human habitat

The works presented in The Shape of Things to Come are a collection of futuristic scenarios deriving from scientists and artists from the Vienna BioCenter (VBC), the CeMM Research Center for Molecular Medicine, the Institute of Technology Austria (ISTA) and the University of Applied Arts Vienna. This project is a heterogenous representation of how diverse experts from various fields imagine, broadly assess and influence changes in our environment in the future.

MencheLAB is a computational research lab based at the Max Perutz Labs in the Vienna BioCenter campus and an adjunct lab at the The CeMM Research Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The broadly interdisciplinary team of molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, physicists and digital artists work together on networks to decipher mechanisms in biological systems.
