Ars Electronica Solutions participated in this year’s Athens Science Festival 2024 with the support of the Austrian Embassy, focusing on the themes of Science Experience and Sustainability Thinking. Their contribution included a presentation on Sustainability Thinking and a live demonstration of the Global Shift BCI science project.
Ars Electronica Solutions introduced Science Experience and presented numerous examples of projects carried out in collaboration with the ESA. The presentation provided insights into Earth observation and featured a live demonstration of the “Earth from Space” installation as part of the Science Experience. Additionally, the live demonstration of the Global Shift BCI project, a neuroperformance-based brain-computer interface explored participants’ brain responses to images related to global changes using neurodevices. The goal was to raise awareness of these changes.
