New 3-D Dance Performance at Deep Space: We are looking for a test audience
What is the future of the stage going to look like? Which interactive technologies will allow directors and artists – but also the audience – to co-create the visual and auditory environment of a dance-, theater- or music performance? And without loss of quality in terms of dramaturgy and aesthetic experience or even unpleasant join-in compulsion on the audience’s side!
St(Age) of Participation, supervised by Christopher Lindinger and choreographer Klaus Obermaier, deals with these questions. In the context of this artistic research project, the Ars Electronica Futurelab explores multi-media, interactive and three-dimensional technologies for stage performances of the future.
In July, 2012, it is time, to try out our developments together with an audience. Therefore, we would like to invite you to participate at our first test performances of our micro performance “Letterbox 3D” at the Ars Electronica Center’s Deep Space.
MO, 23.07.2012, TUE, 24.07.2012, WED, 25.07.2012, 6.30 p.m. (meeting point at AEC foyer)
The test performances last approx. 45 minutes each and participation is free of charge, every person will receive 2 vouchers for visiting the Ars Electronica Center.
Please bring an internet-capable mobile phone (smartphone) and be prepared to fill out a short questionnaire after the performance!
