EXCENTRIC – Excelling Human-Centric Collaborative Ecosystems for Smart Digital Transition in CCSI
EXCENTRIC is a pioneering initiative dedicated to transforming the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI) through digital innovation by addressing the underutilization of data in daily operations. It centres on experience sectors—live music, theatre, festivals, and museums — known for their capacity to create value by providing audience-centric intangible cultural experiences. The project’s ambition is to empower organizations in these sectors to develop, adopt, and integrate collaborative data-driven tools and practices for smart digital operations. Built upon ARCHS principles, EXCENTRIC supports a digital transformation within the piloting organisations that is adaptive, responsible, collaborative, human-centric, and sustainable.
EXCENTRIC speaks to Ars Electronica’s commitment to explore possible paths for the cultural and creative sectors’ digital transformation and allows us to test new practices through an acceleration programme.
Within EXCENTRIC, Ars Electronica will establish a collaboration framework and the orbit of experts around the project, run the uptake programme by organising EXCENTRIC labs, and oversee the dissemination of the project’s research results and publications through an extensive stakeholder engagement and network outreach, as well as a series of dissemination events.
