Roots & Seeds XXI: Biodiversity Crisis and Plant Resistance
Roots & Seeds XXI. Biodiversity Crisis and Plant Resistance advocated for a more sustainable future and aimed to foster habits to take better care of our environment, specifically plants. The project promoted sustainability through actions and commitments that stem from both artistic and scientific practices, in response to individual and collective actions failing to keep up with the sustainability discourse as the actual environmental problems intensified.
Over the course of two years, the project’s activities allowed the transnational circulation of professionals in these fields, funded the production of artworks, and developed research focused on the biodiversity crisis. The work initiated in this project is continued in Tilling Roots & Seeds.
