Ars Electronica is appearing in Mumbai, India January 7-9, 2011 as a featured guest at Techfest, a festival for R&D and technology being held for the 14th time this year. At the invitation of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Ars Electronica will present two works by Christa Sommerer and Laurent Mignonneau, SimLinz, an interactive city model developed by the Ars Electronica Futurelab, and the Prix Ars Electronica Animation Festival featuring outstanding examples of contemporary animated filmmaking.
Ars Electronicas appearance is supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum New Delhi, the City of Linz, the Province of Upper Austria and igm Robotersysteme AG.
