“!” in programming signifies “not,” carrying a negative tone that is often overlooked.
Hearing is passive and inescapable. Life is filled with sounds, yet subtle noises fade as we grow used to them.
Not only trivial sounds go unnoticed. In Taiwan, Chinese aircraft cross the airspace daily, their engines blending into ambient noise—ignored, normalized, routine.
Living under this sky, we selectively ignore unfolding realities, risking the loss of environmental awareness.
