Classical Klangwolke 25 places Beethoven’s 7th Symphony in the context of two special works: Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring emphasizes the dancelike and spiritual, while Miklós Rózsa’s Oscar-winning film score for Ben Hur establishes references to the archaic rhythms of the Seventh. The Klassische Klangwolke spans an arc from the ancient drama of the Roman Empire to ‘Old Hollywood’, at the same time opening the great Beethoven cycle of the Brucknerhaus and Bruckner Orchestra Linz.

Brucknerhaus Linz
Its location in the Danube Park, its timelessly elegant architecture designed by Finnish architects Heikki and Kaija Sirén and, above all, the excellent acoustics of its two halls make the Brucknerhaus in Linz one of the most attractive concert halls in the world. Since its opening in 1974, international classical music stars as well as young talents have performed here. With around 200 events a year, the house also presents jazz, world music, readings, and programs for children.
