How can new digital and analogue formats help convey climate change adaptation strategies in a more effective and personal wayy at local and regional levels?
The focus is on innovative approaches that do more than just inform—they aim to create a sense of personal connection and motivate people to take action. Examples include immersive installations or applications that use satellite data, high-resolution gigapixel imagery, and data visualizations. Equally important is storytelling that ties these issues to people’s everyday lives and local environments.
The goal is to foster empathy for environmental change, reduce psychological defense mechanisms, and highlight concrete options for action.

    Anne-Sophie Bauer

Anne-Sophie Bauer has been a Member of the Upper Austrian State Parliament since 2021, where she is responsible for climate protection, environmental protection, youth, and security. Her focus lies on climate justice—because climate policy is ultimately social policy. Public transport, affordable energy, or the possibility of a good life in a changing world—these issues concern not only our planet, but each and every one of us. For Anne-Sophie, climate protection is not about “hugging trees,” but about concrete policies for a fair, safe, and climate-neutral future. She became politically active at the age of 18 with the Young Greens, driven by the goal of combating structural inequalities and amplifying young voices in politics.
