Metal Horizons documents the work of apprentices as they craft I-beam clocks from steel. The film follows 15 precise steps—from sawing through solid steel beams to deburring, grinding, drilling, and applying custom paint finishes.
Industrial precision meets personal creativity: each apprentice designs their clock with a unique combination of colors. Traditional craftsmanship intersects with creative expression—heavy industrial steel becomes a poetic reflection of young voices.
The film reveals often-hidden manufacturing processes and opens a dialogue between material, time, and creativity. Functional industry gives rise to one-of-a-kind pieces.
