How long does a thought last? What unfolds in the fleeting moment when a ring of mist appears—only to vanish again? Perhaps, within that instant, a lasting idea is born.
In the summer of 2025, the artists Julian Lenzenweger and Jonathan Mandl created the smoke ring machine for Ars Electronica—an eye-catching welcome piece at the entrance of POSTCITY that invites reflection, if only for a moment.
