Space and Design Strategies is a transdisciplinary field of study blurring conventional boundaries between theory and practice and merging the fields of visual arts and public culture, architecture and performing arts. The focus is on exploring design and artistic strategies in context of public institutions as well as emerging environments and autonomous spaces.

10×10
Hannes Wizany (AT), Elisabeth Pérez (AT)
Separate places connect through constructed matter and material identity. 10x10 creates a dialog between two places that at first glance have nothing in common. Overlooked connections emerge, allowing hidden links to surface.
DAS PISST UNS AN!
Moritz Böttjer (DE), Livia Schmitsberger (AT)
PEEING IS A BASIC NEED—AND IT SHOULDN’T PISS US OFF! Dirty toilets, long lines, unsafe spaces, 50 cent fees—that pisses us off! Our installation calls for free, clean, barrier-free toilets for all.
Decomposing Haut/Haut
Lotta Bauer (DE)
Decomposing Haut/Haut is an interactive installation that has evolved from the original project Haut/Haut. It explores agar-based bioplastic as an alternative to synthetics, encouraging a more sensitive approach to materials.
Perceived Love
Fiona Prohaska (AT)
