Marcello Ienca
Marcello Ienca is a cognitive scientist, bioethicist, and philosopher working at the interface of neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence. Following postdoctoral research at ETH Zurich, he founded the Intelligent Systems Ethics group at EPFL. In 2023, he joined TUM as Professor of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence & Neuroscience, where he also serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Ethics & History of Medicine. He has been appointed a member of UNESCO’s Ad Hoc Committee on Neurotechnology.
