    Andrew Newman fosters transdisciplinary cultures as a producer for Ars Electronica’s European Platform and co-founder of the award-winning Research Institute for Art and Technology. He unites artists, scientists, and industry (STUDIOTOPIA, Label4Future), advances STEAM learning and critical thinking (Critical ChangeLab, OSHub, STEAM INC), champions citizen science (EU Prize for Citizen Science), and advocates for collaborative, empathetic thinking to create new narratives for our shared futures.

  • Mairéad Hurley

    Mairéad Hurley is Assistant Professor in Science & Society Education at Trinity College Dublin's School of Education. Her research explores the transformative potential of critical science education, with particular emphasis on informal learning environments and the creative intersection of art and science for education and public engagement. She uses participatory and transdisciplinary approaches to explore the role of science learning in shaping sustainable and socially just futures.
