Ars Electronica Solutions part of the new exhibition Mythos Wald again
For the second time, Ars Electronica Solutions brings the fascination of immersive experiences into the impressive world of the Gasometer Oberhausen. With The Tree, we once again create a dramatic highlight of the new exhibition Myth of the Forest, opening on March 20, 2026, inviting visitors to a truly unique encounter.
From the artfully staged root system, a spectacular view unfolds of the abstract treetop soaring 40 meters into the sky – an immersive experience that unites nature, technology, and artistic vision.
“With our new exhibition, we also want to raise awareness of the state of our planet, make complex topics tangible, and inspire social debate,” says Jeanette Schmitz, curator of Myth of the Forest and Managing Director of Gasometer Oberhausen GmbH.
