From October 10 to 13, 2014, Ars Electronica Solutions was at the Festival “Circle of Light” in Moscow. The fourth festival of its kind was dedicated to recent developments and possibilities in the field of lighting technologies. This year’s main theme “Light around the World” united artists from more than 25 nations, presenting spectacular light installations, laser shows and technologies.
Michael Badics, Senior Director of Ars Electronica Solutions, was in charge of two panels at the “Circle of Light” symposium: on October 11, he talked about Ars Electronica; on October 12, he introduced new forms of data visualization in his presentation “Light, Data & City: cultural-graphics”.
