“Half Dome Globe” at the Futurelab at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (UK)
Due to the success of the ESRIN’s Φ-Experience in Frascati, there was an ongoing process of thoughts regarding the specification of mobile versions of exhibits from the Φ-Experience. From these considerations, the first installation to be shown outside the Φ-Experience is the exhibit “Half Dome Globe” in a mobile modified setup at the so-called Futurelab at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in UK. The modified setup is designed as to be reused in other events and other locations.
Due to the COVID situation, the Ars Electronica Solutions team was unable to set up and commission the installation on site in the UK as planned. For this reason, the test setup was designed in advance so that the English colleagues could follow all the steps of the setup in detail and the Ars Electronica Solutions team was available remotely during commissioning.
