From October 1-3, 2020, the Robert Jungk Library for Future Studies (JBZ) held an intensive seminar on climate change for the second time; this year in the form of a Fall School under the motto “For a Livable Future”. Michael Mondria, Senior Director of Ars Electronica Solutions, discussed the potential of artificial intelligence for climate protection in his workshop “Earth to AI ….?”. In addition, there was an exciting introduction to the basic functioning of AI with all its opportunities and dangers. The focus was on the question of how people can use technology for the benefit of society.
