Recognition for the Vienna Museum of Technology โ with the involvement of Ars Electronica Solutions.

The exhibition Climate. Knowledge. Action! at the Vienna Museum of Technology has been awarded the TRIGOS Special Award 2025 for its innovative educational concept on sustainability.
Across more than 600 mยฒ, it vividly conveys the causes and consequences of the climate crisis, linking them to biodiversity, resource scarcity, and societal change, while presenting concrete options for action. Through interactive stations and inspiring examples, visitors โ especially children and young people โ are encouraged to think critically and take action. The exhibition thus makes a significant contribution to raising awareness and fostering societal transformation towards sustainability, serving as a model for experiential and action-oriented education.

Three interactive installations within the exhibition were created by Ars Electronica Solutions. Focusing on climate change, space research, and Earth observation, they were developed in collaboration with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the European Space Agency (ESA). These exhibits make scientific insights tangible and highlight the global interconnections between humanity, Earth, and climate.
