The use of electrical energy and district heating should be reduced by the following measures:
• Pump replacement
Old devices are replaced by new energy-efficient pumps.
• Well water cooling
By reconstruction and optimization, the free cooling utilization can be improved by means of well water.
• Waste heat utilization
The waste heat of 8 projectors in the exhibition area Deep Space 8K and server room, should be used for space heating.
• Conversion of interior LED lighting
Replacement of all fluorescent tubes still in use with energy-saving LED lighting.
• Shading foyer
The large south-west-facing glass façade is to be equipped with shading to save cooling energy.
