Since 2013, the tanzhafenFESTIVAL has been a platform and interface for contemporary dance in all its diversity. It will open in Deep Space 8K with the performance Der Atem 17/19, an immersive, interactive dance performance by Korean artist Lee Jung In.

Lee Jung In combines traditional Korean rhythms and the Ganggangsullae dance with contemporary movement, visual art, and responsive projections to explore a sense of ritual, the collective unconscious, and the human longing for growth. This is accompanied by cinematic “surprise acts.”
