As part of the Kaiserschild Art Defined project, the foundation uses digital technologies to preserve art, present it in a contemporary way, and make it accessible. On Heritage Day, the Kaiserschild Foundation will present still lifes by Pieter Claesz in Deep Space 8K.

The Dutch master had a decisive influence on still life painting in the 17th century. High-resolution multi-perspective images of Claesz’s paintings are on display, revealing the finest structures and details thanks to gigapixel technology. One of the works on display also served as the template for an asphalt art interpretation by street artists Jana&JS in front of the New Town Hall.
