Knots is an interactive art installation that playfully explores the concept of endless repetition – taking inspiration from the myth of Sisyphus but offering a new perspective. Visitors take on the role of a figure rolling a stone up a path. However, as soon as they reach the top, the stone rolls back down, and the process begins again.
This seemingly endless task remains the same, yet it transforms through different challenges and experiences – just like in real life, where daily routines often repeat but feel different through new encounters, experiences, and perspectives. Instead of seeing the stone as a burden, it becomes a companion. Knots represents the repetitions and patterns of life, which can be both challenging and playful. It invites visitors to shift their perspective on continuous effort.
