On June 22, 2024, the stages and cultural venues of the provincial capital will once again open their doors for the 11th edition of the Long Night of the Stages. The stage marathon, which is unique in Austria, attracts a theater and dance-loving audience from all over Austria to Linz for one night every year.

25 venues, around 100 events, more than 500 participating artists and an average of 12,000 visitors – these are the success figures for this extraordinary cultural event in a nutshell. The Long Night of the Stages 2024 will be a festival for the whole family, starting at 4 p.m. with activities for children and offering an extensive and varied program for young people and adults until well after midnight. From theater, dance, cabaret, performances, music performances to active artistic hands-on activities, the program offers a cross-section of Upper Austria’s diverse and highly artistic cultural scene. And of course there will also be a special focus on the annual composer Anton Bruckner.
The Ars Electronica Center will once again be a venue in 2024, offering a suitable stage for various dance and performance projects. Of course, Anton Bruckner is also a must in the anniversary year! With Playing Anton, you will become an active “player” in the Bruckner Orchestra Linz in Deep Space 8K and discover Bruckner’s soundscapes in a spectacular way.
