In Re-Engineering Human Nature, current developments and critical questions in the field of neurotechnology are discussed. Together with experts from various disciplines and an interested audience, we discuss opportunities and challenges as well as the role of art in this socially relevant field of technology.

This event is part of the Topic Weekend: Brain-Interaction in Medicine, Art and Leisure.
In addition to keynote speeches and panel discussions, film screenings will provide insights into clinical, artistic and commercial applications of neurotechnology.
The event is being held in cooperation with the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA), the Linz University of Art and Design, and the NeuroExperienceLab at the Ars Electronica Center.
