Our view of the world changes with the technologies we use. This weekend we will focus on the technological developments that enable us to view the world from above, using satellites, or analyze it from below, using social digital networks.

How we humans see, understand, plan and negotiate the world has to do with our view of the world – our world view. This in turn changes with the observation possibilities and measurement techniques that we use. In addition to spiritual/religious beliefs, the scientific status quo also determines our view of the world.
