GauGAN is an application that is able to generate complex landscapes with only a few brushstrokes.
The user draws simple blocks of color and chooses which textures these colored areas should have: sand, sea, mountains, forest, plants, or rocks are just a few of the options. As its name implies, GauGAN uses Generative Adversarial Networks to endow the sketches with photorealistic landscape features. Then GauGAN can even generate new versions of these pictures in the painting style of different artists.
