AI Playground

Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of our daily lives and influences numerous areas, from the economy to our social interactions. AI is even used to create works of art. But what is actually behind this technology? At the AI playground, you can creatively explore how artificial intelligence works and gain valuable insights into its background through dialogue.

The 4 mobile stations of the AI Playground

1. Trust in AI: AI Forest – The Schwammerl Hunting Game

In the AI Forest, teams go on a digital-analog mushroom hunt. They find three mushroom objects among the plants, which are scanned in via QR code. The participants then recognize a real mushroom on the screen. But is it poisonous or edible?
An artificially intelligent app is on hand to help with this difficult decision. It has been trained in advance with a large number of photographs of wild mushrooms in order to identify different types of mushrooms. The only question is: do you trust this AI? Or perhaps you would rather trust your own knowledge? Decide for yourself!

2. Understanding AI – Quick, Draw! Google

Can a neural network recognize drawings? Help train one by adding your drawings to the world’s largest database of drawn images. This database is publicly accessible and used for research in machine learning. As you draw, you will not only gain insights into how artificial intelligence works, but also into the importance of the data that is essential for training.

3. AI & Creativity: Musik komponieren mit KI

Composing an Italian rap about your team’s last result with the help of AI? No problem at all with the latest AI applications!
But behind this creative application lies an important question: how creative is artificial intelligence really? Discuss your opinion while creating your own songs!

4. Prompt Battle Station

Prompts are the precisely formulated instructions or questions that an AI program uses to generate specific results. Prompting skills, i.e. the abilities needed to formulate these instructions, are considered the skills of the future. Test your prompting abilities and take on the challenge at the Prompt Battle Station to compete with the other participants! How precise do the instructions to an AI have to be for it to create an image exactly as we imagine it? Are there images that an AI is not allowed to create, and who makes that decision?
