“TIME OUT” is an exhibition series in cooperation between the Linz University of Art and Design and Ars Electronica in which students of “Time-based and Interactive Media” get the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Ars Electronica Center. Often not only the exhibition space is provided, but also the infrastructure, such as the Deep Space 8K. Whether film, sound, programming or interface technology, the course of study “Time-based and Interactive Media” gives its students a lot of freedom to express themselves creatively. The resulting work is as varied as the studies themselves.
