We all shape future – constantly. In the process, we are confronted with major challenges, from the climate crisis to digital transformation. But how can developers, technology companies and artists, but also society as a whole, contribute to a positive future? These questions and more are explored in the new “Inside Futurelab” video featuring Managing Director Horst Hörtner, Director Hideaki Ogawa and Technical Director Roland Haring from the Ars Electronica Futurelab.
They provide a glimpse into the essence of the Ars Electronica Futurelab, whose artistic work has been fascinating people all over the world for 25 years now. The Futurelab’s motifs are extremely diverse: from creative AI, robotics and poetic systems to art thinking, immersive 3D environments and dancing drones. Hörtner, Ogawa and Haring show the inner workings of the lab, why the perspective of artists is so valuable and what ideas can bring positive change.
