After a year of distance, how do you reconnect people of a huge cities with each other, but also with nature? Of course – with a picnic in nature. With the “Future Picnic” exhibition, the “School of the Future –OPEN STUDIO–” thus invites visitors to the spacious garden of Tokyo Midtown. Printed “PICNIQ” sheets address the audience with artistic questions, inviting them to engage with the future of this open place of community in central Tokyo. The activities surrounding this annual event, which this year runs from Oct. 15 to Nov. 3, were curated in collaboration with Ars Electronica Futurelab.
