The night sky has always fascinated mankind – and when did you last look at the stars? Thanks to Deep Space 8K, distant galaxies are within reach. In this Deep Space presentation, you will first explore our home galaxy – the Milky Way – together with Erich Meyer from the Kepler Observatory Linz in terms of its size, shape, composition and age. Then we experience a gigantic gigapixel image of the Milky Way panorama, in which we zoom in on the smallest grains of the so-called galactic dust.

Afterwards we start a discussion round! Take the opportunity and ask your personal questions to Erich Meyer!
