All times are given in Central European Summer Time (CEST / UTC +2).

The CCI Lab presents various projects and workshops that demonstrate the potential of combining artistic and industrial know-how and express the progressive networking of forms of knowledge. The project was developed in cooperation with InduCCI, a European initiative to promote cultural and creative industries in traditionally industrial regions in Central Europe

In the workshop Faserland artists Hannah Wiesener and Magdalena Kohler worked in cooperation with the Sächsisches Textil Forschungsinstitut e.V. (Saxon Textile Research Institute) and, together with students and postgraduates, questioned the fabrics that currently determine our lives.

Fleece materials are ubiquitous in many places in everyday life, and not just due to the need to wear face masks. Synthetic fleece materials were available for the workshop to experiment with. While they are used intensively in everyday life, still many questions arise: How can the materiality and feel of the textile be changed? What enables new applications or recyclable material cycles? How can the value of fleeces be increased aesthetically and economically?

The workshop is executed in cooperation with the scientific partner Sächsisches Textil Forschungsinstitut e.V. and the cultural partner Klub Solitaer e. V.
