Amanda Bennetts

Amanda Bennetts is an Australian installation artist. Living with a neurological disease and a rare muscular disease, Bennetts harnesses her lived experience in order to critically explore illness and disability. Bennetts is an awarded artist and has exhibited extensively within her emerging career. Through her collaboration with data scientist Johanna Einsiedler, Bennetts critically explores how algorithms can improve an individual’s well-being and advocate for patient-driven technological development.

Pinyao Liu

Pinyao Liu is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher based in Linz, Austria and Vancouver, Canada. He was a research fellow at Harvard University’s Visual Computing Group (VCG). His art practice and research explore generative AI and immersive technology for altered states of consciousness and transformative experiences. His artistic research has been published in the Leonardo Journal by MIT Press and The ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI).

Stefanie Lindstaedt

Elected founding president of Austria’s first public university exclusively dedicated to the digital transformation of science, business and society —IT:U Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria. Within the last ten years. Stefanie Lindstaedt has developed two institutions in Austria that today bring together over 250 computer and data scientists, AI and ML specialists: Institute for Interactive Systems & Data Science (ISDS) at TU Graz and Know-Center, one of Europe’s leading research centers for Trusted AI and Data. Lindstaedt is an international, interdisciplinary scientist with research focus on AI, HCI and edu-tech. She was awarded MS and PhD degrees in computer science by the University of Colorado Boulder (USA) and her habilitation by TU Graz.
