Vanessa Hannesschläger (EU), Nicole Grüneis (AT)

POSTCITY, First Floor, Art Thinking Lounge
Thu 5. Sep 2024 12:30 – 13:30

Ars Electronica connects: In 2024, the Festival is focused on the protagonists of positive development. Our extensive network of partners consists of these protagonists, who make us hopeful for better futures: academic institutions, public bodies, cultural organizations, and creative industries as well as the private sector, from sustainable industries to innovative technologies, come together at the Ars Electronica Festival.

In our Town Hall meetings, we want to give them a chance to connect with each other, but especially aim to enable new faces to join our community of forward-looking people and institutions. Focused on a variety of topics and open to anyone interested, these get-togethers give the opportunity of expanding professional networks and building new connections.

Participation is free of charge and open to anyone. Please register below, as space is limited!

Citizen Science

Moderators: Vanessa Hannesschläger (EU), Head of European Collaboration, Ars Electronica FPX; Nicole Grüneis (AT), Head of Education & Content Development, Ars Electronica Center

Citizen Science is a Game Changer. The transformation it brings affects citizens as much as institutions involved in scientific and research processes, from the academic field to non-formal educational and research contexts. In this Town Hall meeting, we therefore invite professionals from all types of institutions, but also representatives of grassroots, bottom-up and community driven research, to mingle and meet.
