Volumetric Visions
The workshop will introduce participants to 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), a novel machine learning approach to volumetric data representation and rendering, and explore its application in Extended Reality (XR).
The workshop will cover 3DGS technology and its artistic potential, followed by hands-on practice. Participants will learn how to capture objects and scenes, render video and explore VR integration.
Meeting Point: Workshop Room
Language: EN
Tickets: FESTIVALPASS+, FESTIVALPASS, ONE DAY PASS
Max. 25
The target audience is artists and technologists interested in digital art and volumetric technologies. Participants should bring their smartphones for scene capture. Optionally, they could bring their laptops, which are more suitable for video editing/rendering tasks.
