    In a tribute to John Lennon’s song ‘Imagine’, dancers embody peace amid turmoil, reflecting on the 2023 Russo-Ukrainian War, Israel-Palestine conflict, and Taiwan Strait tensions.

  • Billy Yi-Chun Chang

    TW

    Billy Chang, a pioneering Taiwanese dancer at Cirque du Soleil, returned to Taiwan in 2013 to nurture the island’s cultural spirit. He founded Natural Kind Inspiration Garden and collaborated with artist Hsin-Chien Huang in performances and motion capture tech. As the 2022 National Games opening director, he’s led over 35 arts productions.

  • Carlotta Borcherding

    DE

    Carlotta Borcherding is a multimedia artist based in Linz. By composing sound, choreographic and visual elements they create acoustic and optical landscapes. Their Deep Space performance Environment had its premiere at the Ars Festival 2023 as the film Environment had its international premiere at the Gwangju Media Art Festival 2023. As an audiovisual artist they recently worked on the piece 無何有-mukayu. by choreographer Hinako Taira with the company TANZ LINZ of the Landestheater.

    Daniel Rosero is a musician, multimedia engineer and data scientist specializing in various fields, such as machine learning, open-source development, natural user interfaces, digital audio signal processing and synthesis, robotics and virtual/mixed/augmented reality. His passion lies in exploring innovative approaches and creative problem-solving.

  • Eva Petrič

    SI

    Eva Petrič, multimedia artist, born in Slovenia, based in Vienna and New York City, works in photography, video, performance, installation, sound, scents and writing.

  • Fransisca Tan

    AT

    Fransisca is a creative producer, food experience designer and science communicator with a background in cognitive sciences, communication, IT. As artistic advisor and community manager at ArtEO, Fransisca applies her second nature as facilitator to foster collaborative artistic endeavors, in order to unite diverse communities.

  • Hsin-Chien Huang

    TW

    Hsin-Chien Huang has collaborated with the artist Laurie Anderson and electronic musician Jean-Michel Jarre. His VR works have been displayed globally, including the Venice Film Festival, Festival de Cannes, SXSW and Venice Biennale. He has partnered with the Ars Electronica Festival since 2020 and serves as the Lead Curator of Garden Taipei/Formosa.

  • JP Carrascal

    CO

    JP is a researcher, musician and maker based in Barcelona. He currently splits his time between his day job as UX researcher at Microsoft, composing and performing with his music project Spacebarman and creating interactive media artworks.

  • Semi Lim

    KR

    Semi Lim is a dancer and artist based in Linz and Seoul. She is currently studying at the Anton Bruckner Private University and will join the Skånes Dansteater in Sweden as an intern this winter. Previously, she worked with various choreographers such as C Haring, F Landerer, V Rottier, M Kuźmiński, R Chadash, I Perry, and S Bell. She has appeared in My Family Are Off-limits, a program by the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, and has worked as a season dancer for Unplugged Bodies Dance Company

    Sock Redding is a generative artist, interactive systems programmer, musician and multimedia creator who explores the line between artist, performer and curator. Their work combines photography, video and data as input, and produces non-representational, psychedelic visuals as output: information synthesis at its least useful.

    Teodor Dumitrache is a musician and digital media artist from Romania who has been living and studying in Linz since 2014. He creates lighthearted art on some days and dives deep into abstract feelings on others, all of it driven by his experiences as a digital citizen in the early millennium, analog technology, machinery and the randomness of life itself.

  • Tom deMajo

    GB

    Tom deMajo is an artist and designer who is known for multi-sensory installations, architectural interventions, sonic environments and engaging video games. He is a founding partner of Biome Collective, Scotlands first games and interactive arts collective.

  • Veronika Maidukova

    UA

    Veronika Maidukova is a dancer, choreographer and teacher from Kyiv who is based in Linz. As a part of Suzirya Aniko by A Rechviaschvili, she performed in Bolero, Two roses, Memory and Life flowers. She holds a Master’s degree in Culture and Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Dance & Pedagogy (Kyiv National University of Culture & Arts). She performed at Tangente and Vitalnya Vienna, working with choreographers such as R Chadash and A Lopez. She curated the project WART and worked on the dance research project The World without the Sun.  

  • Wen-Chieh Chang

    TW

    Wen-Chieh Chang is a cross-disciplinary artist who integrates video-graphic creativity, interactive technologies and new media arts. His innovative works such as The Universe of Liu Kuo-Sung, Kuo Hsueh-Hu Home Gazing, Childhood Revisited and Wonder of Life reflect deeply on traditional culture and deconstruct it with new media art.
