G’sungen, g’rappt & g’stanzlt: Was Sie schon immer über Künstliche Intelligenz wissen sollten

LIT Robopsychology Lab (AT)

Ars Electronica Center, Deep Space 8K
Fri 6. Sep 2024 16:00 – 17:30

The Robopsychology Lab uses music to promote knowledge about AI: In a collab with singer-songwriter Blonder Engel, they released A Liadl, ans üwa KI. Together with rappers Yasmo and Flip, a hiphop track about environmental impacts of AI was produced.

Moreover, they teamed up with Dominika Meindl on a series of Gstanzl (an old form of sung rants) about gender inequalities in AI. In this event, the three pieces are performed, some as live world premieres, and contextualized through expert talks.

    Blonder Engel

    AT

Blonder Engel stands for contemplative music with sophisticated lyrics, excellent guitar skills, mischievous self-irony and an unstoppable talent for improvisation. A bare chest, golden leggings, angel wings and a bass voice that would make any Hollywood villain jealous are the trademarks of this award-winning artist from Linz. Between his cheeky songs, he often drifts off into stories whose endings are sometimes unknown even to him. Of course, the audience also gets to call the shots from time to time. The main thing is that everyone’s laughing when the fastest mouth in the Garden of Eden fires off in the finest Upper Austrian dialect. An artist where anything can happen on stage. Heavenly!
