Katharina Mayr is a teacher of art and design as well as technical and textile design. Her artistic focus lies on the design and creation of sculptures, objects and paintings. Despite the variety of her work, motivated by curiosity and interest in diverse themes and techniques, all of her works follow three central themes: Sustainability, ecology and a love of original techniques. Nature always plays a central role in her work and serves as a source of inspiration and a motif for action.
