Visitors can step beneath the horizontal screen, known as “Gaze,” and immerse themselves in the underwater world. Without a diving suit and mask, they experience the ocean up close with whales, fish, or jellyfish. The visual spectacle is accompanied by an immersive sound experience that creates a unique atmosphere. The striking architecture of the Gasometer Oberhausen, Europe’s tallest exhibition hall, enhances the experience.
The Wave integrates seamlessly into the industrial design, making the ocean surface visually merge with the ceiling structure. The hall’s size provides exceptional acoustics, where music and the soft echoes of visitors create a unique oceanic ambiance.
